Course Objectives


By the end of the course, participants will be able to

– Understand the elements required to produce Chocolate Cakes and Muffins

– List and describe the functionality of ingredients used in making Chocolate Cakes and Muffins

– Produce a variety of Chocolate Cakes and Muffin products following standard recipe guidelines, mixing methods and processing parameters.

– Bake Chocolate Cakes and Muffins to a satisfactory standard

– Apply pre and post baked finishing and glazes to Chocolate Cakes and Muffins

– Apply standard storage requirements for Chocolate Cakes and Muffins

Instructor Details

Mdm Sjuffriani had been in the home baking industry since 1991. Her knowledge and baking skills range from Kueh Lapis, Cheese Cake, Fondant Cakes, Cupcakes, Muffins to soft and hard breads. She is also very well versed in Macarons and now even have honed the skills of doing animated Macarons and Animated Cupcakes.

A graduate of AMP’s Micro Business Programme, she has attained various certifications in pastry arts, sugarcraft, cake decorations and training. developed her skills in baking by enrolling into various baking classes, as well as going for courses overseas to expand her knowledge and expertise.
